well, guys, I am talking about your 2011.  that time I used to do a job or I used to say one of the clinics in a Bandra Mumbai as a hair transplant surgeon.  undoubtedly the awareness about the procedure and outcome of a surgery was not that much clear to the patient’s mind in 2011 now right now which is 2018 the patients are much more educated much more qualified and their well aware about the surgical outcome and everything.

 I am talking about the boy who was 24 years old charming personality.  basically from Rajkot city which is one of the cities in Gujarat. I am purposely not taking his name you not to reveal his actual identity.  hair transplantation surgery usually takes 6-8 hours to complete around 2000 graft with follicular unit extraction method. the surgery of a hair transplantation is usually performed in a local anesthesia.  so generally patients are well aware of the time place and a person.

      this particular boy was going for a hair transplantation surgery with the only reason for getting married and nothing else.  but undoubtedly he was really sweet in talking and having a charming personality. I do remember the day of a surgery very well.  we were talking about on a different aspect of life apart from what he was doing in his business he was also very keen about hair transplantation and some miracle result.  it was, in general, a good talk in a great chat with the patient for almost 6 hours.

      at the end of surgery after doing the dressing on a Donor area and making him wear a cap on a recipient area when we decided to leave for the day he just asked me ‘   doctor wish me all the best?

I said ok fine I really don’t mind to wish you all the best but why?

he said now as we are very close to each other I would like to share something with you.

I was able to see the spark in his eyes and Charm on his face.  he was bit excited and nervous also. undoubtedly whenever you go for any surgical procedure you have a pain little bit of a swelling and discomfort.  but that boy was really excited said doctor wish me all the best?

I said may God bless you hope all your wishes come true and wish you all the best.

yes yes yes yes yes. . . .  that was his reaction.

I said now at least tell me what happens?

he said I am going to get engaged tomorrow.  with my 8 years old love. and just to look more presentable I have undergone hair transplantation surgery.

I was almost the condition of a shock for 3 minutes.

who was not even able to speak a single word for almost 5 minutes.

I just got in touch with the front office or counselor of the clinic who actually performs the consultation part with the hair transplantation patients.

I just informed Counselor that boy when I get engage tomorrow to forget about the engagement tomorrow but it will not be possible for coming 6 months.  have you spoken to the boy regarding the downtime of a hair transplantation surgery?

a reaction of a counselor was even more shocking.

I Remember The Counselor was really a sweet girl a pretty looking you Laila D’Souza.

and Laila started scratching her head and said yes I think I have informed the guy about the downtime but I am not sure about it.

remaining what happened was a great learning lesson for me the boy and the patient was really kind enough everything Court settle down it is 2018 he is having two kids and really happy but my learning lessons where –

please avoid free consultation in with The Counselor who just tries to sell you some procedure to complete the target.

meet the doctor who will gonna performer hair transplantation on you rather than meeting their associate doctor and the team.

always keep you much buffer time whenever you go for a hair transplantation surgery.  it takes 6 to 8 months to get the result to be on a safer side if you are getting engaged or some big function is coming up keep up offer 10 months minimum.

no matter whatever wrong happen with you in the life the god is kind enough and there is always a better way out.

do not choose the hair transplantation procedure to get married to someone. you can go bald even after the marriage as well. one must choose the hair transplantation surgery for his own sake rather than get married.

there are many clinics which are run by investor counseling is done by The Counselor and the surgery is performed by the doctors be wise to choose your surgeon.
